Where will your money go?
Our target is to raise £20,000 to purchase a piece of heart disease diagnostic equipment called a T.O.E probe (Trans Oesophageal Echocardiography) for the CCU at St Mary’s. Having liased with Dr Dallas Price, the consultant surgeon, we have established this is a vital piece of equipment that is required which could have potentially saved Paul’s life. It works by taking internal ultrasound pictures of the heart and diagnosing potential problems. As well as this Dr Price has also said they require two ECG machines at a cost of £5000 each.
Working in collaboration with the Friends of St Mary’s and the D.R. Memorial Fund we are aiming to raise the adequate funds to purchase this vital early warning life saving equipment to be based at St Mary’s Hospital, Isle of Wight.
